Sweet Salmon

This is a flavorful way to eat salmon, and definitely one of the easiest recipes you will ever make! Serve with rice, quinoa, or mashed potatoes.

Ingredients

  • ½ c. honey
  • ¼ c. soy sauce
  • 2 T. brown sugar
  • 2 T. either pineapple orange, or apple juice
  • 1 T. lemon juice
  • 1 T. apple cider or white vinegar
  • 1 t. olive oil
  • ¼-1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • ⅛-1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • ¼ t. paprika
  • t. garlic powder
  • 3-5 salmon fillets I use frozen and thaw them

Instructions

  • Thaw salmon if using frozen.
  • Combine all ingredients except salmon, then pour over salmon in a baking dish.
  • Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes or until done.
  • Turn over and broil if desired for a few minutes at the end (I didn't this time).

Notes

This sweet recipe can also be a little spicy hot if you want it to be! Just adjust your amounts of pepper and cayenne pepper.
