Hello Reader,

I hope you are having a nice summer. I just finished reading a book called “Life Gets Better” about the benefits of growing older. You know how time flies more the older you get? (This is due to the fact that when you are 4, one year is only 1/4 of your life, but when you are 30, one year is 1/30th of your life.) It said in there that an 80 year old said by the time you’re in your 80’s, it really does feel like you’re having breakfast every 15 minutes. haha!

What are you doing this summer? I spent most of my summer recuperating from my broken toe…. which is partly how I had time to read that book! And a project that I finished was— finding the right rug for my dining room. Through a series of unfortunate pet accidents, I decided that I wanted a washable rug.

I didn’t find a washable rug, but I ended up doing something else DIY that I love just as much, and it only cost me about $50!

Coming up– I’m looking forward to decorating my Christmas tree with ornaments from King of Christmas. I think the theme will be music, but of course that is subject to change….

And speaking of Christmas, here are some Christmas in July ideas for you. Do you do Christmas in July? I’d love to know which of these ideas is your favorite!

Warmly,
Liberty
