Do you need a new easy way to do your hair? Today I want to show you how I put my hair up– fast, easy, and pretty.

I’ve been doing my hair like this for a long time. If you have long hair like I do, then you probably need to tie it back often when you need to clean or get projects done. Or maybe in the summer when it’s hot you need to put your hair up off of your neck.

I have no idea how many years I’ve been wearing these alligator hair clips. Once I tried one, I was hooked. Gradually I’ve found more of them over the years– until I have enough colors to match whatever I’m wearing!

And of course– you can find anything on Amazon these days– including these gorgeous hair clips for a great price.

Here’s a quick video to show you two different ways that I use these clips to keep my hair up. It usually lasts all day, and you can use it with your hair wet or dry.

1. The first way I let the hair twist into a figure 8.
2. The 2nd way, I start to wrap it like a bun, but then clip it above the bun.

There are all sorts of ways you can twist and secure your hair. I do mine different ways depending on how long it is.
Don’t you think this is so much prettier than a regular ponytail?
If your hair is extra thick, you may want to try using/ twisting just the top half of your hair at first, so it won’t be too heavy.
