Our old farmhouse has several sets of bay windows on 3 sides of the house. They are composed of 3 or 4 individual windows all set at an angle. I absolutely love them, because I can look outside and easily see in so many directions! (and of course, it’s the perfect place to put a Christmas tree!)

I had bought lots of curtains for all of the windows in our house– now I just needed a way to hang them. I tried buy a metal pipe and bending it– but that just was not going to work– and it wasn’t going to be cost effective.

If there’s one thing you know about me– you know I like to be frugal! So once I found this combination of curtain rods and angle joint thing, I knew it was cheaper than anything I could try to DIY on my own.

Here’s what you need:

  1. Curtain Rods
  2. Angle Ball things

Get as many as you need for each window. If you have 3 windows, you will need just two angle ball joint hardware things, and 3 curtain rods. If you have 4 windows, you will need 3 angle ball adjustable join things, and 4 curtain rods.

Watch this 7 minute video to see how to install them! Then tell me if you think you’re going to use this idea!!
