Painting the Basement Door

Our basement door had never been painted. The grime on it couldn’t be washed off. It was time to paint it the same color I had painted the shutters.

The trim had never been painted, either.

I painted the door with it still on its hinges. It worked out just fine. I used glossy white on the trim. Here is the inside–it shows the true color better than the outside picture does.
