Attic Door Art Idea

Here is a quick idea for your home decor.  Have you ever run out of space for art on your walls?  Have you ever thought of using your ceiling??  I did!

Our attic door was just a piece of drywall cut to fit the opening.  It wasn’t cut very carefully, and was not big enough.  So it let some air through. Our attic door is at the end of our bedroom hallway.  Sometimes I do exercises on the floor, and looking at that attic door bothered me.  It needed to be fixed.

I decided to cut a piece of MDF engineered board that would be the right size.  Then I gave an artist friend of mine a picture of a sunset that I liked, and asked her to paint it onto the board.  Here is how it turned out!
