I had a miniature cookie cutter in the shape of a music note. I searched for ways to use it, and one of the ways was this one. This cucumber is from my garden. Perhaps you have an abundance of cucumbers and would appreciate this idea for how to serve them.

Before

First, wash and slice the cucumber.

Then, press down with your cookie cutter until it cuts through the cucumber.

The neat thing is that you can serve both the cut out shape, and the round slice with the empty shape in it. Both of them are pretty, and both are edible.

When vegetables are in fun shapes, they taste a lot better than normal!

A flower shape works well, too– and cuts out nearly all of the middle, leaving the skin.

Have you ever made cute vegetables for yourself or your family to eat, or perhaps to take to someone’s house? A miniature cookie cutter (available here, on Amazon) makes it fast and easy.
