Are your summers lazy, or do they feel just as hectic as the school year at times? If you need some new ideas to keep kids busy, here they are!
If it’s not too hot, I enjoy hiking– with or without my kids. Even a long walk around my country neighborhood is so refreshing and gets me moving, ready to do more around the house when I return. I’ve even taken a few bike rides this summer– and I don’t think last year that I rode my bike at all.
Usually I would work in my garden, but I’ve been away a lot this summer, so my garden is suffering. I wish my garden was a kids activity, but my kids have always thought it was an adult only activity! haha.

Before I close– have you read any good books lately? I’m reading a book that was lent to me– “Fight Less- Win More” about negotiations by hostage negotiators. It’s pretty interesting!
