Earring Holder Organizer
Have you ever needed an earring holder organizer and wondered what you could use that was easy? I was in that predicament.
I was changing my earrings using the bathroom mirror, but my jewelry box was in my bedroom. I started leaving my earrings off to the side of the counter, because I didn’t want my earrings to fall down the sink.
Could I have walked back and forth? Maybe. My husband is on a different sleep schedule than me, so more often than not, he was sleeping when I went to take out my earrings.
Another problem I had is that– I wear both stud earrings and dangly earrings. And I needed a solution that would organize both types of earrings.
So— I came up with such an easy solution. I waited to see if it worked before sharing it with you– and yes!!! It does work!!
Easy Earring Holder Organizer Solution
Soooo easy……. All I needed was three things:
- A piece of plastic canvas.
- A piece of thin ribbon.
- A command hook.
First, I chose a color (because I have lots of plastic canvas in my stash that someone gave me), and then I cut a piece of plastic canvas to fit inside my medicine cabinet door.
Secondly, I attached the command hook and waited an hour.
Lastly, I threaded the ribbon through a square, tied a knot, and hung it on the hook.

See??! Both types of earrings fit securely on this earring holder organizer just fine! And it is soooo easy to take them on and off. That was another thing. I like things to be fast and easy. And using this homemade earring organizer doesn’t slow me down when I’m getting ready.
A concern that someone had, was that the earrings might fall off and down the sink. Well, my sink is off to the left, and this cabinet door swings open on the right. So it is not hanging over the sink. If your medicine cabinet door is over your sink when it is open like this, then if I were you, I would choose a different place to put my command hook.
Another advantage is that this earring holder doesn’t interfere with anything in my medicine cabinet. It’s not banging into anything when I close the door.
