Liberty Blue Bathroom Accessories
Today I want to show you how I styled my hall bench with blue bathroom accessories for the fourth of July!
I painted my hall bench with a custom mixed color from Black Dog Salvage Furniture Paint. Then I found out that they named my custom color— after me!! They named it Liberty Blue. (Be sure to use my code B420 to get 20% off!!!)
I was so excited because I’ve never had anything named after me : ). I decided that of course I would need to style my bench for the Fourth of July with blue bathroom accessories.
I needed some clothes hooks in my bathroom and had decided that this hall bench would be the perfect thing. It has become my new sock changing station!
Since my name is Liberty, you can imagine that I have a small collection of patriotic decor items. Some people have given them to me, and some I’ve made or bought. And since I’ve been to visit my statue, I acquired a few more!
This Americana fabric is leftover from a curtain that I made about 20 years ago!
This is a banner that I got from Hobby Lobby a few years ago.
This print of the Statue of Liberty was given to me by Ms Toody Goo Shoes.
And then I painted the frame to go with it.
At the last minute, I remembered that I had a cute patriotic throw rug. It’s perfect, don’t you think?!
You may remember that at our other house I liked to decorate my Coffee Station for different holidays. I do believe that perhaps my Hall Bench will become my new favorite decorating place for holidays!
And since it’s painted with Liberty Blue paint, it’s very appropriate that the Fourth of July is its first holiday, don’t you think? It really didn’t take long to decorate with my Patriotic red, white, and blue bathroom accessories.
