Have you ever wanted to know how to easily install an Under Cabinet CD/Radio Player in your kitchen or office? I really love mine because it saves space. I also still like to play regular CDs.

Here’s a quick video to show you how easy it is to do. And if you ever decide that you don’t want the CD player under the cabinet anymore, it is easy to take it out and no one will ever know. The holes that you make are underneath where no one will ever see them.

Perhaps you are like me and you want to install a CD/radio player under a cabinet because you want to save space on the counter. It really is a very handy spot.

How to Install an Under Cabinet CD/Radio Player

  • First, I suggest you plug in and turn on your player to make sure it works. You don’t want to go to all this trouble just to find out that you need to get a different player!
  • Choose which cabinet you want to install the player under. Pro Tip: Make sure there is an outlet nearby!
  • Find the template that came with your player. You will also need a pencil, scissors, and a drill with bits.
  • Use scissors to cut out the places that mark the holes.
  • Then, holding the template on your cabinet, use a pencil to mark the holes for the bolts. *Be sure to center it so that your player will be centered under your cabinet.*
  • Starting with a small drill bit, Drill small holes into the bottom of your cabinet.
  • Get a larger bit, and drill through again to make the holes big enough for the bolts.
  • Hold the player with one hand up to the cabinet, then use the other hand to thread the bolts through, turning them until they are snug.
