How to Make Name Cards with a Cricut Maker
Confession time… I made these cards 3 years ago and never finished writing the post!! If you would like more detailed instructions– let me know in the comments!
Did you know how easy it is to make any word into a card with Cricut Design Space? I made MOM and MOTHER for Mother’s Day.
Insert your text into Design Space. Group the letters together, making sure they are touching each other on the sides.
Duplicate your word. Then invert it so it is upside down. Attach the tops of the words together with the one word facing up, upside down, and the other one facing down. Then weld together. Add a score line through the middle and attach the score line to your word. All ready to cut!
[If you need Cricut machine supplies, you can find them HERE.]
Just be sure all your letters are touching each other on the sides. Remember hand drawing words like this back in school? Or does anybody do that any more?
Once cut, fold and you are all finished. (You could add some cut outs like hearts or filigree if you want, on the top layer before you cut it out.)

Write on the inside of your card and sign it.
This is such an easy way to make a quick, custom card. If you are good at drawing block letters, you could fold a piece of paper and cut this by hand.
The hardest part is finding an envelope to fit! You might have to make an envelope too!
Add 3D stickers like butterflies if you have some.
These turned out so pretty I wanted to keep them for myself!
But I didn’t.
I hope this easy Name Cards project has sparked your creativity! Crafts don’t have to be hard to look fabulous.
