Easy Trail Mix Bars
These easy Trail Mix Bars are great for when you need a quick dessert to bring with you somewhere, like a potluck or to a friend’s house. For years I made them with chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, and pecans. Then I decided to try using trail mix instead, to make them even faster to make. They turned out delicious, and so colorful!

More Details about Trail Mix Bars
I don’t really care for raisins, but I do enjoy the raisins in the Kars brand trail mix. I find that other trail mixes have more bitter, less plump raisins.
If you omit the coconut, I found that the bars don’t like to hold together as well. Also, spread the condensed milk as evenly as you can, because that is what helps hold the bars together, too.
If you try these, I would love to know if you liked them!
Easy Trail Mix Bars
Ingredients
- 1 stick butter
- 1 package graham crackers
- 2 cups trail mix
- 1 cup shredded coconut
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
Instructions
- Melt butter in a 9 x 13 pan in warm oven.
- Crush graham crackers with a rolling pin in a ziploc bag. Mix crumbs with melted butter, and press mixture evenly into pan.
- Spread trail mix evenly on top of cracker mixture.
- Spread coconut evenly on top of trail mix.
- Evenly drizzle sweetened condensed milk over coconut.
- Bake in oven at 350 degrees for 20-30 minutes or until lightly browned on edges. If you underbake it, the bars will not stay together, and if you overbake, it will be difficult to get them out of the pan.
- Cool for 10 minutes before slicing and removing from pan to cool completely.
