Before

My neighbor that was moving away gave me this metal cross.  It was brown.  I had some sample paint that I had bought for $1. I decided to paint the cross blue.  Since I wasn’t using spray paint, and this was latex wall paint, I wasn’t sure how it would turn out. I put it up on a box to dry, to keep the wet paint from holding the cross to the newspaper.

It turned out great!  The paint has not chipped.  I wasn’t sure that I would keep it blue, or change the color.  So far, it has stayed blue.  I really like using this in my Easter decor.
