Update: I have decorated this little tree many ways since this first version. To see…
Peacock Christmas Tree
Did you know that you can enter your Christmas tree in contests? Well, I did, and it has been nominated to be voted on! I would love for you to vote if you love it! VOTE HERE.
Our dining room at Century Farms has 4 windows that form a bay window area facing the road. It’s the perfect place for a Christmas tree! I was so excited to finally have room for a full size tree for the first time in my adult life. Then I was even more excited when King of Christmas gave me a lovely prelit flocked tree. Isn’t it lovely?!

At first I decorated it very simply, with pine cones and some peacock feathered ribbon. For a topper I used a silver star shaped basket that I had found at a thrift store.

To see the lights and more, watch the video!
Then I added deco mesh rolls, peacock colored ornaments, metal words, a cross ornament to the star, and finally– peacock feathers!

What I hadn’t realized is that the lights would cast a gentle glow on my newly installed hand painted tin ceiling. So pretty!!

I love how my tree turned out! I hope you’ve enjoyed it too.

Well of course my daughter wanted to decorate the tree with our traditional ornaments. In the past I had displayed them on a screen. So I un-decorated my tree and helped my daughter redecorate it. She did most of it though.

You can see how I used a different pattern of tin tile in my piano room.

I can’t wait to decorate this tree again for next year!

Beautiful!!
Thank you Debbie!
Your peacock tree is beautiful, Liberty! And so is the one your daughter decorated! Merry Christmas to you and your family!
Thank you! I appreciate you Amy! And Happy New Year! ๐
