Christmas Plate Decor
See what you think of this idea of using paper plates for my Christmas Plate Decor. You just need a simple ribbon and some paper plates…. and some masking tape.
I love cute paper plates. Especially, I love using paper plates for decor!
Fabric Wholesale Direct sent me some of this beautiful 1.5 inch red grosgrain ribbon. I have used it for several projects— it’s amazing how much it can add to a project. Ribbon is such a nice extra touch.

I think I may have found these paper plates 2 years ago in the after Christmas sales at Hobby Lobby. I really like Hobby Lobby’s selection of paper plates– for decorating, that is! I just can hardly bear to mess them up by putting food on them! (I’ve made a wreath with them more than once!)
I like to decorate my plain gray cupboards for the holidays.
Attach 1.5 inch grosgrain ribbon with masking tape to the cabinet, and to the back of a Paper Plate.
Add glitter if you wish, by using glue and glitter, or glitter glue, or both. This would be a great project to do with kids! Let it dry.
I love decorating with Paper Plates, especially beautiful Christmas ones like these!
Glitter or no glitter, it looks amazing!
[I have another Joy idea here!]
So what do you think? Do you like them with glitter, or without? Maybe just gold and silver glitter instead of the other colors?
